What a kick! Check out this video. It is a fun introduction to library staff, departments, and books. This could be a good example for an introductory library video contest for most any library.

Sonoma State University Library Channel

Does your library have a Library Channel? Sonoma State University library does! It's website leads students to library tutorials, tours, and more by offering a link to its Library Channel. Voices of at least four academic librarians walk students through the mini-tutorials.

Sonoma State University Library is officially named the Jean & Charles Schulz Information Center. Charles Schulz is the creator of the popular, long-running comic Snoopy.

Back to School -- University Library Videos

It's August. Students are headed back to college. It looks like a number of academic libraries are prepared with wild and wacky, young love drama, and other themes to their "introduction to the library" videos. Here are a few examples:
